Germany needs to take more risks if it is to compete as a startup nation, says new startup association boss

Together with a nine-member board of experienced entrepreneurs, I am on the board of the Startup Association to make it easier for top international talent to come to Germany, create more diversity in the startup scene, generate more late-stage capital, improve the transfer from the research landscape, sustainably promote deep tech startups and strengthen entrepreneurial spirit.

We are committed to helping children become digital shapers of tomorrow's world. To this end, we founded the Digitale Bildung für alle e.V. association in 2017. The non-profit organization is committed to digital education and educational equality by making schools the central hub for good digital education. We also promote girls' enthusiasm for technology and support initiatives that make teachers fit for the digital world.

Together with five great co-founders, I have taken over the first women's soccer team of FC Viktoria Berlin. This is a dream come true - both in sporting and entrepreneurial terms. Our goal is to lead the team from the regional league to the 1st National League and make a lasting change to women's sport throughout Germany.
